On Halloween night, Thomas arrives back at the sheds after having a small accident on his branchline. The big engines tease Oliver and he begins to doubt he can do his job. One morning, The Fat Controller tells Oliver he wants him to work with Gordon and Henry pulling coaches. Oliver, now restored, had been working at the harbour. While they are being worked on, Oliver tells Edward the story of how he was saved from scrap. When he gets there, he finds one of his old friends, Oliver. Soon, three lorries arrive and instead of helping, they make life harder for the engines.Įdward is sent to the works to be repaired. One afternoon, Henry arrives late at the harbour and a nearby boat suggests a lorry should take over for the engines. Summertime is always a busy time on the Island of Sodor.
